This is our “single source provider” promise.
Based on its clients’ demands, the Group provides calibration services that are:
- Accredited or non-accredited,
- For all measured variables (physical, electrical and mechanical),
- For all brands of measuring instruments,

OUR ACCREDITATIONS
The TRESCAL group operates across 25 countries and holds more than 780 accreditations in 28 different domains.
An accreditation is issued to a laboratory for an electrical, physical or mechanical calibration. It shows the laboratory’s competence, independence and impartiality in calibrations. It is issued by an accreditation body that is recognized by its peers and that is a member of international organizations such as the EA (European Accreditation) or the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).

All our laboratories comply with the requirements of standard ISO/IEC 17025 which means that they can guarantee the traceability of calibrations and tests by demonstrating:
- The competence of the personnel carrying out the calibrations and tests;
- The traceability of measurements in the international system (SI);
- The relevance of the calibration and testing methods used;
- The assessment of measurement uncertainties.
As well as being accredited, Trescal collaborates with the metrological accreditation bodies of the countries in which we operate. We support professional unions in the sectors in which we specialise.

OUR CAPABILITIES
Associated with an accreditation, capabilities show what the laboratory is accredited for in detail:
- Types of devices (1);
- Measuring range which can be checked by the laboratory (2);
- Uncertainty of the measurement (3);
- Other remarks of interest (4).

OUR CERTIFICATIONS
Quality and safety are priorities for the TRESCAL group. As such, our quality and safety management systems are based on the ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards supplemented by the provisions of ISO/IEC 17025.
In the same way as accreditations, national accredited bodies issue these certifications.
ISO 9001: This is based on quality management principles, with strong client orientation and insistence on the motivation and commitment of the management team, process approaches and continuous improvement.
ISO 45001: This standard shows the method of setting up a management system for health and safety at work. The objectives are to eliminate any danger and to minimize risks through prevention and protection measures, to improve health and safety performance and to comply with regulations. It builds on the principles of the standards that have previously been established, especially OHSAS 18001.
All Trescal laboratories also have certifications showing they specialise in accredited metrological services governed by standard ISO/IEC 17025.
